lunch feast at Etta's in SeattleEtta’s Seafood is a good fail safe place to indulge in a massive feast of a lunch if you’re hanging around Pike Place Market and you need a break.

The service is good. The food is hearty. The cokes come with lots of ice and refills are free. And it’s restive, in that I’ve-just-stuffed-myself-and-have-induced-a-food-coma-on-my-person kinda way.

Handily enough, there’s a great park with many benches just across the street from it. Don’t be afraid to use them… horizontally.

We over ordered (surprise surprise) by piling on the Pacific squid calamari that came with an amazo green olive aioli ($13), fresh Dungeness crab cakes and fries ($17) – meh – and a side of Cornbread pudding ($6) – whoa boy – and Yakima green beans ($6) – which served their purpose by giving us the illusion of being healthy.
