
One of the most popular posts on foodandtell.com is the post on Vancouver’s hidden restaurant, 12B. Since then I have seen this phenomenon covered on CNN, and most recently on the New York Times, which details the hidden restaurant trend in Berlin, and Berlin’s “Shy Chef.” There is something romantic and exciting about a restaurant so exclusive that real names are frowned on and the directions are like a treasure hunt. I have to wonder though if the growing popularity of this idea won’t also be its demise.
