Breaking News! Padma Lakshmi will be starring in a half hour comedy, rumoured to be called Single Serving, where she will play someone working in the food industry. The show is being produced by NBC, and although I had no idea, Padma’s acting “chops” extend to Star Trek Enterprise (really?), Glitter (ouch), and some other TV. Lets not forget the sordid bacon cheeseburger sex romp. I hate to see a good brand diluted, but all the best to Padma.
