There are too many jokes that could be made about this and none of them subtle, so instead I will present this plainly. The good people at boingboing, always reliable, have found a patent application filed in 1932 for a device that injects ice cream into a banana. Apparently this never made it to market, but let it live on in your imagination and dirty jokes alike.
