As you may have heard by now, it has become law in the United States that bloggers openly report any free samples or services they receive.  The Federal Trade Commission has taken this move to attempt to prevent the web from becoming saturated with paid-for product and service reviews with hidden bias.  We can perhaps thank Microsoft for bringing this issue into the limelight, with their contentious campaign rewarding bloggers with free kit.  In foodie circles, Wired suggests that wine bloggers will be hardest hit.  Reading this sent rapid thoughts through my head about wine blogging and free samples, a veritable eureka moment. I must practice describing wine, my talents so far in life have been in drinking it.
