<p>I got this cheeky message at the bottom of my beer glass at <a href="http://www.seamonstrsushi.com/" target="_blank">Sea Monstr Sushi</a> in Gastown. They are the first restaurant in Canada to adopt the<a href="http://bottomsupbeer.com/" target="_blank"> bottoms up</a> system, which fills special beer glasses from the bottom via a magnetic seal. This makes pouring fast and eliminates many of the foam issues associated with cask beer. Unfortunately the glasses are plastic, but I was told glass ones are on order, with branded magnets. This all sounded great until on one visit I got multiple glasses that leaked. When that happens you start wondering who&#8217;s idea it was to put a hole in the bottom of a beer glass. I will be back to test them out again. Someone has to do it!</p>
